Why have you never eaten here? I'm glad cuz we can get in early. It only took a couple years to get here for me from QC Now we get a room close so we can eat. This place has made my belly happy for over 25 years. I use to ALWAYS recommend and after a hiatus due to m own locations, it does not disappoint.

I had the pleasure of dining at Tarbell's at the end of January to celebrate my birthday with friends. There were about 8 of us and, having made a reservation beforehand, I was calling to confirm and was offered the private room for my party at no extra charge. Getting there was fairly straightforward but parking is limited so definitely plan to valet (it's free + tip) if heading towards the restaurant at night. Even before you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff and, upon entrance, you meet the dim lit cozy vibes of the restaurant. The bar looked big and beautiful but I only got a glimpse as we were seated promptly at our reservation time. Our wait staff was perfect, just the right amount of attentiveness and knowledge about the menu. They even have a sommelier on staff who floats amongst the tables offering wine suggestions based of your mood and meal. Food wise, everything is delicious. We ordered the shishito peppers, calamari, and hamachi crudo appetizers. The hamachi was another level of excellence; it was cut a little thicker with a creamy wasabi base and assorted toppings. By far the best hamachi I have had, so light and creamy delicious. Fresh house bread and dipping oil are available on the table and can be requested more as needed. For my main I ordered the bolognese with a giant meatball add-on, WOW was this so good!!! The fresh housemate pasta, melt in your mouth meatball...to die for! Many others in the group ordered the Scotch Beef (a somewhat house specialty) and they absolutely loved it. It was all quiet when the food arrived, that says something for our loud group! Dessert wise, I was more than shocked at what they brought for the birthday dessert. I was fully expecting a tiny little something enough for maybe 3 bites but, to everyone's surprise, our server brought out 3 full size desserts for our party! We enjoyed the cheesecake, chocolate moose, and profiteroles...all sooooooo good. The chocolate moose and profiteroles were my favorite and, fair warning, they are huge. Overall there were absolutely no complaints and for the price of the meal, it's almost a steal for the quality/quantity/excellence of service received. 10/10 recommend and I look forward to the next time I am able to visit. Amazing!! We came here on recommendation from our hotel concierge. The food was absolutely amazing. They had a great selection of appetizers, gluten free and vegetarian options. The wood fired seasonal vegetable entree is the best veggie entree I have ever had in my life- and I have been a vegetarian for like 20 years. The service was also top notch. Everyone in the restaurant was very attentive, helpful and kind. It was a little loud in the restaurant but it was super busy. Free valet also.

Went to visit friends in the Phoenix area and we all went to Tarbell's for dinner. He said he had seen an episode of Check Please and said it looked good. The fish was very fresh and the wine list is amazing. The waitress was fantastic, but a guy who kept stopping by was a little stiff. A smile goes a long way. Our friend could not decide between the thai noodle and the mussels, so they offered to split the 2 and do a half/half, which was very kind. He loved both of them. The scallops came with a side of agnolotti which contains eggs and I'm allergic. So the waitress said I could have the same side as the seabass special which was sweet potato and spinach puree. Delicious. If we're ever back in the Phoenix area we will definitely go back.

Phenomenal dinner. We sat at the bar with Mikey and service was great. Fun fact, most of their entrees can be ordered in half size portions. So when I couldn't decide between two, that was Mikey's suggestion! Very delicious. I would avoid sitting by the door this time of year as it's quite chilly every time it opens up. We had a great date night and will be back.

Great white table setup inside and a large bar. They had some really good old fashions and wine selections. We had a large group of 10 and they treated us well. Everyone really seemed to enjoy their meals and the service. I got the steak with fries and the steak was very tender and cooked well. We had some other appetizers including the mozzarella and it was all really nice.
